Siemens to Expand Its Digital Industrial Portfolio with Acquisition of Mentor Graphics

Siemens is further building its Vision 2020 to shape Digital Industrial Enterprise by expanding its unique portfolio for industrial software. Siemens and Mentor Graphics announced that they have entered into a merger agreement under which Siemens will acquire Mentor for $37.25 per share in cash, which represents an enterprise value of $4.5 billion. The offer price represents a 21 percent premium to Mentor's closing price on November 11, 2016, the last trading day prior to the announcement.

Siemens and Bentley Systems Advance Strategic Alliance Including Joint Investment Initiatives

Siemens and Bentley Systems announced that they have formalized a strategic alliance agreement to drive new business value by accelerating digitalization to advance infrastructure project delivery and asset performance in complementary business areas. Siemens and Bentley Systems will initially invest at least Euro 50 million in developing joint solutions to enlarge their respective offerings for infrastructure and industry to the benefit of the end-customers.

Yokogawa Acquires Soteica Visual Mesa and Integrates into KBC

Yokogawa Electric Corporation announced that it has completed the acquisition of Soteica Visual Mesa (SVM), a leading energy management technology provider.
