ARC and SANS Institute today announced that they will collaborate to further develop and nurture the global cybersecurity community.
The two organizations will work together to support cybersecurity workforce education and development for industry, energy, utilities, government, academia, and infrastructure. ARC and SANS will help address the pressing need to develop and propagate new cybersecurity solutions for the emerging smart cities, smart transportation, and Industrial IoT initiatives. This includes performing joint research to provide a better understanding of the current state of cybersecurity awareness and preparedness.
ARC and SANS aim to foster an expanded and more aware security community through joint workshops and other activities at the 2018 ARC Industry Forum in Orlando, FL and upcoming SANS events including the 2018 ICS Security Summit.
Cybersecurity Workshops and Sessions at ARC Industry Forum
Building upon the very successful cybersecurity program at the 2017 ARC Industry Forum in Orlando this past February (which included a full day of dedicated end-user workshops, additional cybersecurity-related topical sessions, and 16 industrial cybersecurity suppliers demonstrating their respective solutions in the Forum Innovations Showcase), ARC and SANS plan to collaborate to provide enhanced cybersecurity content at the 2018 ARC Industry Forum.
