The IoT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), 16.-18. October 2018 in Barcelona, is dedicated to connecting IoT providers with industry stakeholders, to help the latter to increase their productivity via this disruptive technology. 300 Exhibitors, sponsors and partners and 300 speakers are expecting 14,000 visitors to this annual event. Furthermore, IOTSWC will feature two parallel events: ‘Blockchain Solutions World’ and ‘AI & Cognitive Systems Forum’.
Testbeds
The event will feature demonstrations of Industrial IoT, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI) in action, in a visual, dynamic and tangible way. Testbeds will demonstrate innovative technologies to create new products & services, show how new technologies can be usefully deployed and fuel R&D ideas and opportunities. Visitors have the opportunity to experience innovative solutions in a dedicated Testbed Area of over 500m2, showcasing ten selected testbeds, one for each vertical.
Workshops
IoTSWC will conduct three workshops to provide knowledge and the necessary tools to optimize the digital transformation in different industries. Participants will receive an official certificate from the event and the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC). The workshops will cover: Deciphering AI, Enabling the IoT startups - technology & business foundations and Digital twin/closed loop PLM.
Iot Solutions Awards
The 2018 IoTSWC will also be paying tribute to the year's most ground-breaking and influential projects with their IoT Solutions Awards in four categories: ‘Industry Award’, 'Innovative Technology Award', 'Business Transformation Award', 'Testbed Award'.
Women Leadership in IoT
IOTSWC18 will also pay tribute to the contribution of women to IOT with the “Women Leadership in IoT” panel discussion with inspirational women leaders in Industrial IoT representing established corporations and startups.
ARC Advisory has been at the forefront of covering and analyzing the influence of the digital transformation and IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) on the industry, staying true to this ARC will attend the IoT Solutions World Congress in Barcelona next month.
