Is the latest Raspberry Pi ready for the Industrial Internet of Things? 

Raspberry Pi 2.pngThe new Raspberry Pi Model B is now for sale.  Same form factor, same price ($35) as the Raspberry Pi 1 Model B+, but with more memory, a faster processor, and it will run Windows 10 or the cloud based operating system, Snappy Ubuntu. The Raspberry Pi 2-compatible version of Windows 10 will be available free of charge to makers through the Windows Developer Program for IoT.  http://dev.windows.com/en-us/featured/raspberrypi2support   

Is it ready for the Industrial Internet of things?  According to Eben Upton, Raspberry Pi Founder and CEO, they already have industrial customers for their earlier versions:  "We have a lot of industrial customers who will want to stick with Raspberry Pi 1 for the time being. We'll keep building Raspberry Pi 1 Model B and Model B+ as long as there's demand for it."   Read more at:
