Schneider Electric has launched Schneider Charge Pro in Europe, an electric vehicle (EV) charging solution designed to help support EV adoption among commercial fleet owners and multifamily residences. The solution is designed to help address key barriers to EV adoption while aligning with the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD), which mandates upgrades to EV charging facilities by 2027.

Key Features of Schneider Charge Pro

  • Integrated, Turnkey Solution: Helps to simplify the EV charging process for Charge Point Operators (CPOs) and building owners, which can result in more seamless retrofitting or installation of new EV charging facilities.

  • Enhanced Installation: Helps to further streamline the process for electricians, which can result in a smoother and more efficient setup.

  • Open System Software: Tracks charging times, which helps to provide CPOs with the information to reimburse employees for charging fleet EVs at home.

In addition to Schneider Charge Pro, the launch includes complementary products to help further enhance access to EV charging:

  • EVCE MFH: A solution tailored for multifamily homes that manages power loads in real-time, which can help to prevent disruptions or overloading during high-volume charging.

  • Cloud-Based Monitoring Tool: Supports pre-commissioning offsite and faster onsite commissioning through a user-friendly-designed mobile app.

Schneider Charge Pro is available in France and Hong Kong, with plans for further expansion in 2025.
