The company has introduced new additive manufacturing hardware, software, and materials aimed at supporting industrial and medical production applications.

Stratasys has announced a series of new additions to its additive manufacturing portfolio, including a new PolyJet platform, software tools, and materials designed to support manufacturers moving from prototyping toward production-scale additive workflows.
The updates focus on improving additive manufacturing efficiency by streamlining design workflows, enhancing reliability, and expanding material and platform capabilities for industrial and healthcare applications.
New PolyJet J850™ Core Targets Engineering Teams
Stratasys has introduced the PolyJet J850™ Core, a lower-cost addition to its PolyJet portfolio designed for engineering teams focused on functional prototyping.
The system provides access to PolyJet materials and performance capabilities without full-color printing functionality, positioning it as an option for organizations seeking engineering-focused performance at a lower price point. Booking for the J850 Core is expected to open by the end of April.
The printer is intended for producing:
Enclosures.
Housings.
Jigs.
Fixtures.
Other functional components.
It supports rigid, flexible, transparent, and PolyJet ToughONE materials, along with a large build tray and high-speed print modes.
New Silicone Material Supports Medical Applications
Stratasys and Shin-Etsu are introducing P3 MED Silicone 25A, described as a biocompatible silicone material for 3D printing patient-specific medical devices and low-volume production parts on Origin printers.
Certified to ISO 10993 standards, the material is intended for medical applications requiring silicone-like elasticity, durability, and resistance to heat and chemicals.
Potential use cases include:
Hearing aids.
CPAP masks.
Orthotics.
Prosthetics.
The material is designed to help manufacturers reduce tooling requirements and shorten production cycles for customized medical devices.
Additive App Suite Expands GrabCAD Capabilities
Stratasys has also announced a new Additive App Suite, developed in partnership with trinckle, expected to launch later this summer.
Initially launching with 10 applications, the suite will integrate automated design tools directly into GrabCAD Print and GrabCAD Print Pro, with plans to expand to 15 applications by Formnext 2026.
The applications are intended to automate design for common industrial tooling and manufacturing uses, including:
Clamping jaws.
Shadow boards.
Drill guides.
According to the company, embedding these applications into the GrabCAD environment is intended to reduce design bottlenecks and streamline the path from design to print-ready production.
New SAF PA12 Material Aims to Reduce Production Costs
Stratasys has introduced SAF PA12 – Powered by Evonik, a new powder bed material intended to lower barriers to industrial powder bed additive manufacturing adoption.
The company states the material offers up to 14 percent lower total cost of ownership compared to existing SAF PA12 materials, while maintaining production-grade mechanical and dimensional performance.
The material is designed for industrial manufacturing applications requiring strong, resilient, and dimensionally accurate parts.
