
Schneider Electric announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to help meet the growing demand for sustainable, AI-ready infrastructure. The partnership focuses on further advancing R&D initiatives across power, cooling, controls, and high-density rack systems, supporting the next generation of AI factories in Europe and beyond.
The collaboration supports the European Union’s AI infrastructure ambitions and its InvestAI initiative, which targets a €200 billion investment in AI. It also aligns with the European Commission’s AI Continent Action Plan, aiming to develop at least 13 AI factories and up to five gigafactories across the region.
This marks a shift as global infrastructure providers begin tailoring solutions specifically for large-scale AI workloads. The focus on modularity, liquid cooling, and integration into evolving GPU-based architectures indicates a new design era for data centers.
To support this initiative, Schneider Electric has introduced a suite of NVIDIA-enabled, AI-ready infrastructure solutions, including:
EcoStruxure™ Pod Data Center: A prefabricated, modular architecture designed for more rapid AI data center deployment.
OCP-Inspired Rack System: Developed to support the NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 platform with MGX modular architecture.
Integration into NVIDIA HGX and MGX ecosystems: Marking Schneider Electric’s entry into NVIDIA’s modular data center reference designs.
Digital Twin for Electrical and Power Systems: Developed with ETAP and powered by NVIDIA Omniverse.
Liquid Cooling Reference Designs: Co-developed as an approved CDU vendor, incorporating Motivair solutions following its March 2025 acquisition.
As Schneider Electric and NVIDIA deepen their strategic partnership, they will continue to fast-track product rollouts and reference architectures designed to help meet the evolving needs of large-scale, AI-driven infrastructure.
