The ARC Industry Leadership Forum is fast approaching—and it marks our thirtieth year. We are holding the Forum again at Renaissance SeaWorld Orlando from February 9–12.
As usual, the ARC Forum features a strong focus on industrial cybersecurity. Attendees can hear from end users through real-world case studies and explore solutions from leading ICS cybersecurity vendors.
The Monday cybersecurity workshop program begins at noon with a lunch session sponsored by Fortinet, a leading ICS cybersecurity provider. The session, titled Securing What Matters | Operationalizing Cyber Resilience to Reduce OT Risk, will feature speakers Erik Anderson, Fortinet OT specialist, and Carlos-Raul Sanchez, senior director, operational technology solution engineering. During this session, Fortinet will discuss how organizations can transform cybersecurity strategy into sustained operational defense—turning visibility into action, and action into long-term resilience.
Critical infrastructure is now a battleground. As cyber threats continue to rise and operational stakes increase, the convergence of operational technology (OT) and information technology (IT) has created an environment in which efficiency and exposure grow in parallel. Systems that were never designed to face modern adversaries are now connected, visible, and increasingly vulnerable.
Security leaders can no longer rely solely on passive risk awareness or compliance efforts. True operational resilience requires improved visibility, faster decision-making, and tighter integration of cybersecurity across the organization. Resilience must be embedded into people, processes, and technology—forming a security culture that extends from the plant floor to the boardroom. Frameworks and regulations provide valuable guidance, but sustained protection comes from operationalizing cybersecurity as an ongoing, organization-wide discipline. Organizations that succeed are those that convert risk into action by strengthening operations against disruption.
