Industry Talk Unplugged @ ARC EIF 2026
ARC’s European Industry Forum is part of our successful series of worldwide conferences in Europe, America and Asia. The next European Forum will be held in Sitges (Barcelona), Spain on May 4-6, 2026 and focus on “Achieving Resilient Operations through AI, Digitalization, and Sustainability”. Participants are invited to attend exclusive presentations and workshops on strategies and case studies from the digital front lines.
In the Spotlight: ARC Industry Talk Unplugged
Resilience has been a topic of interest at ARC for many years. Starting with the 2008 financial crisis, it has been a recurring topic due to the Covid Pandemic, various supply chain disruptions, the Ukraine invasion and most recently the war in Iran.
The keynote will look at past black swan events, future disruptions, and also strategies that ARC has identified in various discussions with suppliers and end users over the last years. We will have a look at key disruptions that may recur, including supply chain shortages, energy availability, or geopolitical events, as well as other potential future disruptions, caused by e.g. the rise of Gen AI or new cyber threats.
Over the last weeks and months, ARC has been discussing and research the topic of resilience and we want to share some of the findings that we think can be part of important resilience strategies. Finally, we will look into the concept and examples of 'anti fragile': How manufacturing companies can grow under stress, improve and get stronger, rather than break.
The keynote will be held by Florian Güldner, the Managing Director of ARC Europe and responsible for the European operations. Florian is specialized in economic modeling, time series and business cycle analysis, and forecasting.
