Panduit’s GTS-E Cable Tie Hand Tool Offers Lower Handle Force and Impact Shock for Improved Installer Productivity

Panduit Corp. a major provider of wire harness, heavy duty cable management, and control panel solutions, announced the launch of its new Panduit GTS-E, Cable Tie Hand Tool that offers its users a lower handle force and resulting impact shock to help increase productivity and better promote worker safety.

With a new more ergonomic design for comfort and grip, complemented by a lower handle force that the company reports is 15 percent less than comparable industry tools, the Panduit GTS-E Cable Tie Hand Tool helps to reduce the risk of operator fatigue during repetitive tool use, as well as helps to minimize repetitive motion injuries to hands during cable tie cut-off. The improved cable tie cut-off mechanism helps to further increase protection by reducing impact shock to an installer's hand by more than 40 percent, according to Panduit, which is lower than comparable industry tools.

Additional new features include:

• Single, easier-to-read, tension adjustment knob in .5" increments that helps to speed adjustments and accuracy of tension settings with a simpler pull and twist motion
• Beveled tie entry that allows quicker side entry of tie into tool to help speed installation
• Longer and narrower barrel nose design that helps to improve visibility and access to confined areas
• Lighterweight, more durable design that helps to preserve more consistent performance over time, while helping to reduce maintenance and replacement costs over years of use
