I was lucky enough to spend 2 days at SAP's Sapphire event this week. Given my blog title, I'm guessing you weren't there, otherwise you wouldn't have read this far.
The keynotes were certainly interesting , but much of the good stuff is in the 1,381 unique breakout sessions - each a golden educational opportunity. Now, If I were this guy, I'd have checked out every single one and given you a summary. But I'm not, so I didn't. So I made you this instead.
This word cloud is made from the titles of all 1,381 breakout sessions. I took out a few very common words that didn't add much to the summary - such as SAP, business, management, and solution.
Knowing how much SAP has promoted its unique HANA database over the last few years, it's no surprise at all to see that word is so popular. However, I am surprised to see that cloud is referenced even more - 310 times, compared to 272 for HANA. SAP are promoting the cloud heavily too, but I really didn't expect it to be more to the fore than HANA. But then again, what SAP is promoting most heavily of all, is HANA in the cloud…
