The second day of ARC Advisory Group's thirteenth India Forum, "Industry in Transition: The Information Driven Enterprise for the Connected World," continued with the same zeal and interest created on the first day. Smart Manufacturing
Neelam Singh, Senior Analyst, ARC Advisory Group India's presentation was based on the survey results on smart manufacturing - a joint initiative between ARC, CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) Pune, and ISA. The purpose of the survey: enhance dialog with multiple stakeholders for implementation; operationalize the mandate at the lowest level; and modernize India's manufacturing sector to make it more efficient, productive, and improve quality processes. Integration between processes is a primary driver behind the smart manufacturing initiative.
