Enterprise Software Market Revenues Continue to Decline in 2Q15

The worldwide enterprise software market continued to decline in the second quarter of 2015. The euro depreciated with respect to the dollar by more than 19.5 percent in 2Q 2015 compared to 2Q 2014. This exchange rate fluctuation had a substantial negative impact on the revenues of many European companies when translated to US dollars, and on the reported growth rate of the market overall.

The combined quarterly revenues for the suppliers followed in this report totaled $21.1 billion, representing a 4.9 percent year-over-year decline. The year-over-year change in individual supplier revenues ranged from a decline of 15 percent to growth of 16 percent.
