PTC released version 6.18 of its Kepware industrial connectivity software for Windows. The Spring 2025 release introduces capabilities aimed at further improving connectivity, security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Audit Log: Provides more detailed insights into user interactions by tracking project-level operations, such as additions, edits, and deletions. This supports compliance initiatives and helps to identify changes or issues more quickly.
Advanced Tags: Now includes native API support for more complex data translation and basic analytics functions. These updates enable remote configuration of Advanced Tags, supporting greater scalability across large projects.
Backup & Persist Configuration: Enable critical configurations to be more securely stored and recovered remotely, helping to reduce the risk of data loss.
Scriptable Driver (UDD): Supports flexible payloads and dynamic parameters, along with 1-dimensional arrays, to help improve custom machine integration.
This release continues the evolution of Kepware as an adaptable platform for industrial connectivity across diverse environments.
