WIN-911 Announces New Partnership with National Instruments' LabVIEW

WIN-911, a global provider of alarm notification software, announces their new partnership with National Instruments, a global provider of testing, measurement, and control solutions. WIN-911's alarm notification software now integrates with National Instruments' LabVIEW system, further adding to their respective portfolios of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions.

LabVIEW system design software provides engineers and scientists with a development environment that helps to accelerate manufacturing productivity and makes it easier for engineers to create, visualize, and program engineering systems. It is currently being used as a development tool in industries, such as automotive, aerospace, life sciences, and energy.

Users will have the ability to configure WIN-911 V7.17 with LabVIEW using WIN-911's OPC DA connection. This configuration will allow existing alarms to be imported and scaled to the appropriate personnel for monitoring. After the import is complete, users will be able to leverage the escalation tools available in WIN-911 V7.17 to build contacts, configure custom work schedules, and create a custom callout lists.

WIN-911 is an IIoT solution that adds mobility to automation systems used in industries, such as public infrastructure, manufacturing, oil & gas, and building management.  One of WIN-911’s major functions is to filter, escalate, and route machine alarms to appropriate personnel and devices leveraging operational intelligence. WIN-911 integrates with most control software (SCADA, HMI and/or DCS) systems.
