Typhoon No. 11 struck western Japan in mid-July 2015, bringing occasionally strong rain and wind to eastern Japan in mid-July 2015. This likely affected participation at Bentley Systems' two-day CONNECTION Event in Tokyo. However, most of the 160 pre-registered participants still managed to attend the event, part of the company's 30-city tour to launch its CONNECT Edition. CONNECT Edition to Support Common Environment for Comprehensive Project Delivery
The CONNECT Edition will succeed Bentley's V8i software generation. It will establish a common environment for comprehensive project delivery, completing its reach to all project participants: AECs, facilities management, and plant/infrastructure owner-operators. It converges with Bentley's platform technology to support a hybrid computing environment across desktop modeling applications, cloud services, on-premises servers, and mobile apps.
